The Crust Company is a Jacksonville, Florida based small-batch bakery and pantry brand focused on handcrafted breads, seasonal treats, elevated pantry goods, and thoughtfully curated gift boxes. Every item is made in small batches with quality ingredients and an emphasis on warmth, comfort, and simple luxury.

Are your products homemade?
Yes. Our products are handmade in small batches in accordance with Florida Cottage Food regulations.
What makes your products special?
We focus on small-batch quality, beautiful presentation, seasonal offerings, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Our menu blends artisan bakery favorites with cozy pantry staples and curated gifting. -
Ingredients & Allergens
Do your products contain allergens?
Many products contain common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and coconut.
Are your products made in a nut-free kitchen?
No. Our kitchen is not allergen-free and products may come into contact with nuts, dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, and other allergens.
Do you use preservatives?
We NEVER use preservatives or artificial dyes. We will never sell a product we would not serve in our own home.
Are your products organic?
We use high quality ingredients and incorporate organic ingredients when possible (which is 99.9% of the time), though not all products are certified organic.
Do you offer gluten-free products?
At this time, we do not operate a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. -

How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed directly through our website.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Select products are available for local pickup in Jacksonville, Florida.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes. We currently ship eligible shelf-stable products within the state of Florida.
Why can’t fresh bread be shipped?
Florida Cottage Food regulations limit how certain products may be sold and shipped. Fresh breads and highly perishable baked goods are currently offered for local pickup only to ensure the best quality and freshness.
Do you accept custom orders?
Depending on availability, we may accept limited custom and seasonal orders. Please contact us through our website or Instagram for inquiries.
Do you restock products?
Yes. Because everything is made in small batches, quantities may be limited and seasonal items may rotate throughout the year.
Can I preorder items?
Yes. Many of our fresh baked items are offered as preorder pickups to ensure freshness and availability. -
Shipping Information
Where do you ship?
We currently only ship within Florida.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days depending on production schedules and order volume.
How are items packaged?
Products are carefully packaged to maintain freshness and presentation during transit.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and products so we can help make it right.
Do you offer gift boxes?
Yes. We offer curated seasonal gift boxes and pantry collections perfect for holidays, hosting, birthdays, and thoughtful gifting.
Can I include a gift note?
Yes. Gift notes may be added at checkout when available. -
Freshness & Storage
How should I store my bread?
Fresh bread is best enjoyed within the first few days. Store tightly wrapped at room temperature and avoid refrigeration when possible.
Can I freeze bread?
Yes. Most breads freeze beautifully. Wrap tightly and freeze for up to 2 months.
How should I store pantry items?
Store pantry goods in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Shelf life varies by product. Specific storage recommendations may be included with your order. -

Are you a licensed commercial bakery?
Our products are produced under Florida’s Cottage Food laws.
What does that mean?
Florida Cottage Food regulations allow approved foods to be made in a home kitchen and sold directly to customers while following state labeling and safety requirements.
Is your kitchen inspected?
Florida Cottage Food operations are not required to operate from a commercial kitchen.

Do you accept returns?
Because our products are food items, we generally cannot accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Order changes or cancellations may be possible if production has not yet begun. Please contact us as soon as possible.
